Doom and Gloom
Some loses come with some gains embedded in them. Sadly, we are programmed to only see what we lose. Seldom, what we gain from losing what we just lost.
*It goes without saying that an employee’s daily “shift” takes more than the daily 8 hours stipulated in his employment contract.
(To lose a master is to gain freedom. To lose a nagging lover is to gain silence.)
