Entrepreneurial Employees
If you tie a young elephant to a small tree, after a few attempts to set itself free, it will accept defeat. Nothing wrong with that. The problem starts when the elephant is old, huge, and, strong enough to break free from the tree — but it fails to even attempt to do so — merely because it still sees yesterday’s limits as today’s limits.
(Some people have “witnessed” so many paydays that they believe that money can only come once a month into their bank account. That there is the cruelty of habit.)
